Access to the world cup
The MTB World Cup takes place in Andorra, specifically in the parish of La Massana, 6 km from the center of the country, and from the Pal Arinsal resort.
DIRECT ACCESSES. Choose your transport to get to the World Cup.
ACCESS WITH THE MASSANA Gondola
Friday 25/08 | Saturday 26/08 | Sunday 27/08 |
Finals XCC | Finals DHI | Finals XCO |
Caubella de Pal | Pic de Cubil / Chairlift Cubil | Caubella de Pal |
The most practical way to access the MTB World Cup is to park your vehicle in La Massana and take the cable car de la Massana (discover all the passes here). The cable car will drop you off at Caubella de Pal, where much of the event is concentrated. Remember that you can also reserve your seat for the Saturday and Sunday stands at an advantageous price.
Friday and Sunday:
- To watch the Short Track (Friday) and Cross-country (Sunday) finals, you only need access to the cable car and if you want, remember you can reserve your seat in stands.
Saturday:
- The Downhill finals start at Pic del Cubil and finish at Fontanals. You will have to take the Cubil chairlift. Once you are in La Caubella, you can take a transfer that will take you to the chairlift. Remember that it will always be necessary to bring your pass with you.
MOVE IN THE BUS
Remember that road access by vehicle is restricted. Only authorized vehicles (staff + teams + ICU and other authorized means) will be able to access. For this reason, together with the traffic service we have worked a service of lines and transfers that will allow you to park in the center and move by bus. This is the map you can use.
4 free bus lines to get there
FREE BUS 1 La Massana parish bus. Start at the entrance of La Massana and end of route at the cable car of La Massana |
FREE BUS 2 Bus from La Massana cable car to Arinsal. Stop at the ERTS roundabout to access Pal. |
FREE BUS 3 Bus from the ERTS roundabout to the Cruïlla roundabout, a location that will allow you to choose whether to go to the XCO area or DH area |
FREE BUS 4 Transfer to move between the different locations of the races. Continuous transport between XCO and DH. |

CIRCUITS AND MAPS
MOTO, BIKE OR CAR
CAR: Access by car will be partially restricted. Up to 250 vehicles will be able to access the Amorriadors area (Serra II chairlift car park), at a cost of €20 per unit. Access will be permitted until stocks last and the rest of the vehicles will have to park them in La Massana, in the different enabled car parks or in Andorra la Vella and access by public transport .
MOTO: Motorcycles will also be able to access, but up to the Amorriadors area (Serra II chairlift). There you will have to park the motorbike and move by bus or on foot, through the different paths enabled.
BICYCLE: Following our sustainability plan, our firm commitment is responsible and respectful access to the resort. If you wish, you can access the Cup with your bicycle:
- To the Massana: get to the Massana and save it in the different enabled spaces carrying your padlock. In Plaça de les Fontetes or Plaça del Quart.
- Until Pal: In Pal, we will also have two monitored bike guards in La Caubella and in Fontanals, but despite being monitored, the responsibility will be on the cyclist.
PARK YOUR CAMPING CAR
Vehicle access is restricted, but you can park your motorhome in the places provided by the parish of La Massana (car parks and other spaces). Remember that La Massana does not allow parking in blue areas for motorhomes.
You can park your motorhome in the Borda de Torres car park and then access by cable car or free shuttle. If you do not have a place, you can also park in the car park of Comallemple, in the Arinsal station and wait for a bus that will take you to the World Cup.
We also recommend you park your motorhome in Andorra la Vella or Escales – Engordany, in enabled car parks and go up by public transport which will be free on 25,26 and 27 August. Once you arrive at La Massana, you can access the cable car and use the shuttles inside the station.
