At Pal Arinsal we are committed to sustainable development and have a plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from our activity and from all the events and competitions we organise.
Despite the reduction, emissions continue to be generated. We offset the emissions of Scope 1 (Direct Emissions) and Scope 2 (Indirect Emissions) of the competition. Now you can offset the emissions of your travel and stay and make the MTB World Cup 2023 completely carbon neutral.
We offset the emissions with a project in India certified by the UN which, in addition, has social co-benefits.
Emissions derived from transport to Andorra, accommodation and maintenance for up to 3 days are included in the calculation. Specifically, 490 kgCO2eq for trips from within Europe and 3,800 kgCO2eq for trips from outside Europe.
